DAS Project Coordinator

  • Tampa, FL (Travel will be required minimally)

  • We are seeking a skilled project coordinator to join our team and contribute to the successful implementation of DAS solutions for our clients and organization of our company processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong organizational background, excellent problem-solving skills, understanding of the construction industry, is calm under pressure, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

  • To perform these duties effectively, the DAS Project Coordinator must possess:

    • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.

    • Proficiency in QuickBooks for database management and reporting.

    • Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

    • Knowledge of public safety BDA/ERCES and cellular communication systems.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for the construction industry.

    • Familiarity with Fieldwire, Bluebeam, or marketing software (preferred).

    • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks under tight deadlines.

  • $55-65/yr + Bonus Potential (Compensation will be discussed further during the interview process)

Director of Engineering

  • Tampa, FL (Must be willing to up to 20%)

  • As the Director of Engineering, you will lead the design, optimization, and deployment of advanced wireless communication solutions, with a primary focus on cellular Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and public safety Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA) systems. You will provide strategic and technical leadership to elevate our in-house engineering capabilities, driving innovation, quality, and scalability across all projects.

    In this role, you will oversee RF system design, performance analysis, and troubleshooting while building and mentoring a high-performing engineering team. You will champion code compliance and regulatory excellence, ensuring all designs and installations meet or exceed NFPA, IFC, FCC, and other applicable standards. With a strong command of permitting processes, you will guide project approvals and seamless integration with field operations, project management, cellular carriers, and clients.

    A key focus will be transitioning and expanding our design and engineering functions to reduce reliance on external partners, improve project margins, and deliver reliable, high-performance solutions that strengthen both public safety and commercial cellular networks.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering (Florida preferred; multi-state licensure a plus)

    • Extensive experience in cellular DAS and public safety BDA system design, optimization, and deployment

    • Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams and complex technical projects

    • Deep knowledge of relevant codes, standards (NFPA, IFC, FCC Part 90, etc.), and permitting processes

    • Proficiency with industry tools such as iBwave and related RF design software

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field (or equivalent experience).

    • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering (Florida preferred)

    • 5-7 years of RF engineering experience, with 3+ years in cellular DAS and public safety BDA system design, deployment, and optimization.

    • Proficient in RF design tools (e.g., iBwave and PCTEL).

    • Expertise in cellular technologies (4G LTE, 5G NR) and public safety systems (P25, VHF, UHF, and FirstNet).

    • Knowledge of public safety BDA systems and compliance with NFPA 72/1221/1225 and IFC standards.

    • Experience with RF testing equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and sweep testing) and system commissioning.

    • Familiarity with permitting processes and code compliance for telecom and public safety systems (local, state, federal regulations).

    • Proven ability to estimate, manage projects, coordinate with teams, and deliver within scope, budget, and timelines.

    • Strong verbal and written skills for collaboration, technical reports, and documentation.

    • iBwave Level 1/2, FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License, and IB-PCS NICET design.

    • Ability to work in field environments, including travel, site surveys, and inspections in various conditions.

    • Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex RF issues and ensure system performance/reliability.

  • $100 to 120k/yr + Bonus Potential (Compensation will be discussed further during the interview process)
